Our ECOTIP project leads at DTU Aqua calculated in the spring that we could finally meet in person in September, and they were right!

This past week, the ECOTIP consortium gathered in Copenhagen at the Copenhagen Zoo to meet and discuss progress on the project, and next steps.

The programme this week included science updates from the partners, reviews of the DANA research cruise results (watch out for a forthcoming interview with Marja Koski about this topic), planning of next cruises and summer schools and communications updates including developing storylines.  Dedicated sessions on developing the bayesian network models and traits-based modelling were also part of the meeting.

As the project gears up for its 18th month review, the meeting was an excellent and timely occasion to get off Teams, Zoom and other channels to see each other face-to-face and discuss real problems, challenges and opportunities in the project.
